This is a 12.04 kw ground mounted solar system 240 ft from the main panel that we completed last week. The install went very smoothly on this one and the driveway looks perfect after covering the trench, without bringing in new gravel. This is partly because we used a walk behind trencher as opposed to the Kubota beast. The system has 4 of the Enphase 5p batteries mounted in the garage with a transfer switch to provide automated backup power in outages.  As well as providing backup power, the system is able to save a little over $4,000 annually on current PG&E billing.

As we post this, many customers are in power outages on the PG&E grid due to the scheduled PSPS shut off.
